Diabetes is a dangerous but most common disease that occurs when blood glucose level increase. Blood glucose is the main energy source for the body but it become dangerous whenever it level reach too high. Uncontrolled level of blood sugar affect the overall health in long term that is why it is required to control the diabetes level from initial stage.   Here are the few tips that can help you to control diabetes:

Be Relaxed, Don’t take Stress

Stress is one of the major cause of raising blood sugar level upto dangerous level. So if you feel that you are stressed that you should go for the mental counsellor or do a counselling session with your family or friend who can really understand your problem and take tips to calm down. Alternatively you can also try deep breathing, meditation or keep yourself busy in something in which you have interest such like gardening, taking a walk.

Get Timely Healthy Meals

Hunger is another factor that affect the glucose level in blood. So don’t skip any meal and choose the foods that have lower carbs, trans-fat and sugar but are rich in fibers. Also drink plenty of water in day time. You can also consult any dietician to prepare the list of foods and snacks that should be avoided by the diabetic patient and what should be eaten. This will help to maintain your blood sugar level and weight as well.

Don’t get lazy, Be Active

Laziness is a big enemy of man and when you are diabetic it will become of hazardous. Morning walk is the best option to get active however you can also take small walks 2-3 times in day. You can also do Yoga , push-ups or any other work through which you can stretch your body and keep it active.

Routine Check-ups are also required

It is also advised to take routine check-ups in every month and maintain record of your blood sugar level so you will got to know ups and downs in sugar level that will help to plan your next activity. Also check your blood pressure and weight on regular basis.

There are so many other ways that you should consider to control your diabetes such as maintain your eating habits, sleeping habits and your daily schedule.
